What is the Green Schools Conference?
The Green Schools Conference (GSC) is the premier education and engagement opportunity for teachers, parents, students, school and district staff, educational leaders, building industry professionals, non-profit partners and others who are passionate about the future of green schools throughout the country and around the world.
When is Green Schools Conference taking place?
The 2023 Green Schools Conference will be held Feb 27 – March 1 in New Orleans, LA at the Sheraton New Orleans located at 500 Canal Street.

Teachers, parents, students, school and district staff, educational leaders, building industry professionals, nonprofits and others passionate about the future of green schools.
Health and safety at the Green Schools Conference
USGBC follows the guidelines recommended by the CDC and requests in-person attendees of USGBC events obtain the COVID-19 vaccination and complete a health screening. Attendees will be requested to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination either on paper or digital copy upon arrival at registration prior to obtaining their event credentials. Individuals who are unable to provide proof of vaccination will be asked to wear a mask responsibly during the event. Rapid COVID-19 tests will be available onsite based on the recommended CDC guidelines. If an individual tests positive, they will be asked to leave as USGBC prioritizes the health and safety of all attendees. Individuals who test positive onsite or in advance of the event will receive a partial refund of 30% of paid registration fees.
