Registering a project
How do I register a LEED v5 project?
All LEED v5 projects are registered in Arc.
From Arc’s home page:
- Click "Register".
- Select "Create new" or "Use existing":
- If a property has not already been created in Arc, select “Create new” to start the registration process.
- If pursuing LEED v5 O+M: Existing Buildings certification, finding an existing property and selecting “Use existing” enables a property’s performance data to be used to document the LEED v5 project. This can help teams save time but is not required.
- Complete the registration process by providing all necessary property details (if needed), project registration details, certification agreement, and payment details.
How do I register a LEED v5 project for recertification?
- Register a LEED v5 O+M project in Arc. If your project already has an existing property in Arc, be sure to use it.
- On the payment screen, select the option to "Pay later".
-
Contact us with:
- A copy of the invoice*.
- The previously certified project's Project ID.
- Attempt the LEED Recertification credit under the Project Priorities (PR) category in the LEED v5 scorecard and submit this with your application to receive an additional 5 points for a previously certification project.
* Our billing team will zero the invoice to provide free registration. The address of the previously certified project should match the address of the recertification project.
If my LEED ID+C project is located within a base building that has a property in Arc, do I register my project within that property?
No, an interior space located within a LEED property/building is considered to be a separate property in Arc.
Who is required to complete the LEED certification agreement?
See our FAQs in LEED certification agreement.

How do I access LEED v5 credit forms before my project is registered?
At this time, LEED v5 BD+C, ID+C, and O+M credit forms are only accessible by registering a project in Arc. Adding sample forms to the credit library is currently in progress.
Last updated on 11/10/2025.
How can I submit a LEED v5 application for review?
Project teams can apply for certification by completing credit forms, uploading all required documentation, and submitting their application for review in Arc.
To start the review, mark at least one credit as "Ready for review" and click "Submit". The review will begin once payment is received.
Notes:
- Some LEED v5 O+M credit forms are still in development. If you're almost ready to submit your project with these credits, please contact us.
- For LEED v5 BD+C or ID+C projects, the split review process will be available soon.
How do I manage project invoices and payments in Arc?
To pay an invoice in Arc:
- Go to the project you would like to manage.
- Select "Management", then "Payment" from the dropdown menu.
- From this page, you can either check on the status of invoices or payments, or click the three small dots to select payment options.
