How do I create a site user account?
- Create a USGBC account
- Fill in the required fields and select ‘Create Account’ at the bottom of the page
- You will receive an email with a validation link to click on, which expires in 24 hours.
How does someone join a project team?
In order for a team member to join a LEED project in any platform, they must have a site user account. To create a site user account, please complete the following steps:
- Visit Create a USGBC account
- Fill in the required fields and select ‘Create Account’ at the bottom of the page
- You will receive an email with a validation link to click on, which expires in 24 hours.
If you have any current team members who receive an error message when entering the project access code, please call our customer service department at 1-800-795-1746 so we can reset their access. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and your project team.
What does my site user account provide access to?
Your site user account will provide access to usgbc.org, LEED Online, Arc, SITES and TRUE. If you update your password, it will update consistently for all platforms.
How do I change my account password?
Across all of the USGBC and GBCI websites, the place to update your password is on usgbc.org.
- Visit your usgbc.org Account settings page, change password, and click save.
- If you do not know your password, please select 'Reset password' and enter your email address. You will receive an email with instructions on how to change your password.
I have more than one account. How do I merge these accounts?
Contact us requesting your accounts to be merged and provide the following information:
- Email address of the account you wish to keep
- Email address of the account you wish to merge
When merging accounts, the following items will be moved to the merged account:
- Active and expired credential history
- Project roles in LEED Online
- Education access including education courses, course catalog, web-based reference guide and publications as applicable
- Active and expired membership history; if you are the primary contact of your membership account, please indicate if the merged account should retain this role.
Please note that CE hours will not be transferred.
