Does USGBC currently offer an exam and prep bundle or an exam, prep, and maintain bundle?

In preparation of the LEED v5 exam launch in 2026, we no longer offer the LEED v4 exam and prep bundle or exam, prep, and maintain bundle. This update ensures exam candidates align study materials with the exam version they choose to take. Exam candidates can purchase study prep bundles separately from their exam registrations. Exam candidates can also purchase the Course Catalog subscription separately.

Can I request an invoice for a bulk purchase of study bundles?

Yes, purchasing LEED study bundles in bulk quantity is a convenient way to pay for multiple bundles at once. To request a bulk invoice, please submit a request via our contact us form. In your request, be sure to  include:

  • the name and address of the responsible billing party,
  • the name of the bundle,
  • the quantity,
  • whether or not a member discount should be applied.

What study bundles are available in the USGBC store?

The USGBC store offers a LEED Green Associate study prep bundle and a LEED AP BD+C study prep bundle. Each item within the bundle can also be purchased a la carte in the USGBC store.

I previously purchased an Exam and Prep bundle. How do I access my exam registration?

If you have purchased a LEED Exam and Prep bundle, please log into your USGBC user account and navigate to your Credential Dashboard. At the top of the page, you will find a link to complete your registration. After entering the required information, click the link to “pay now.” Your exam total should be $0.00, as the exam was already included in the bundle purchase. Once your registration has been submitted, you will be assigned an exam eligibility ID (EID) that you will use to schedule an appointment with Prometric.  

At this time, USGBC is no longer offering purchases of Exam and Prep bundles.

I previously purchased an Exam, Prep & Maintain bundle. How do I access my course catalog subscription?

All LEED Exam, Prep & Maintain bundles include a one-year subscription to the USGBC Course Catalog. To view your Course Catalog subscription, please log into your USGBC user account, navigate to the Education overview page, and click “access.” The Course Catalog contains more than 1000 courses to help you meet your exam preparation and credential maintenance needs. 

At this time, USGBC is no longer offering purchases of Exam, Prep & Maintain bundles. 

If I purchased an exam and prep bundle for the LEED v4 version of the exam and I miss the deadline to take the LEED v4 exam, will I receive updated materials for the new LEED v5 exam? 

No. The education bundle you purchased is only applicable to the LEED v4 exam. New materials will be made available separately for the new LEED v5 exam.

I purchased a LEED AP BD+C specialty-only exam and study prep bundle. Why am I unable to register?  

If you received a message at registration that you are not allowed to register for the LEED AP BD+C exam, it likely means your LEED Green Associate is inactive or expired or that you have not yet earned your LEED Green Associate credential. Please register for the LEED Green Associate exam or renew your LEED Green Associate credential. If you have any questions, please contact us.

I have already purchased an Exam and Prep bundle for another member of my organization. What should I do?

If you purchased an Exam and Prep bundle for someone else through your user account, please contact customer service so that we can transfer the exam registration to the intended exam candidate. In your inquiry, please include the name and email address connected to the USGBC user account belonging to the exam candidate.

What study resources are available for the LEED v5 LEED Green Associate exam?

The LEED Core Concepts Guide 5th edition and additional study materials will be available in late January 2026 for you to begin studying for the LEED v5 LEED Green Associate exam. Please bookmark this FAQ and check back, and check the USGBC online course catalog and usgbc.org/store in the future.

What LEED v5 study resources are available for the LEED AP BD+C, LEED AP O+M and LEED AP ID+C exams?
