How do I apply for the LEED Fellow?

Where do I submit my LEED Fellow application?
To access the LEED Fellow online application form, log in to your USGBC account and visit the Credentials section. The online application will appear in your account if the following criteria are met:
- You have a LEED AP with Specialty in good standing.*
- You have held a LEED AP credential for at least eight years as of January 1.
*Note: To maintain eligibility, the LEED AP with Specialty credential must remain in good standing continuously, without lapsing, until awardees are announced.
When will LEED Fellow nominees be notified of the results?
LEED Fellow candidates will be notified individually prior to the public announcement via press release. Awardees are formally recognized at Greenbuild in the United States each year.
What is the total cost of the LEED Fellow application?
The application fee is $250 USD.
What forms must be completed to become a LEED Fellow?
To apply for LEED Fellow, the nominee must complete the online application form and pay associated fees. The online application has two parts: Part 1: Initial eligibility and Part 2: Application components. The eligibility list and application components list can be found in the LEED Fellow Handbook.
I applied for LEED Fellow before but wasn't awarded. Can I use the same endorser again if I'm applying again?
Yes, returning nominees can choose to reuse endorsement statements from the prior years. However, endorsement statements should be updated to include the nominee’s latest accomplishments, and all eligibility requirements must be met.
How many individuals will be awarded the designation?
There is no predetermined number of LEED Fellows. All qualified nominees are evaluated by the LEED Fellow Evaluation Committee based on the merits of their applications to determine if they meet the criteria described in the LEED Fellow Handbook.
For the LEED Project Experience Letter, does the project administrator or team member providing the letter need to be a LEED AP?
No. They are not required to be a LEED AP. However, at least two out of four mastery element endorsers must hold a LEED AP with specialty in good standing.
I received evaluator's feedback on my last LEED Fellow application in 2019. Should I address only those comments or do I need to submit a new application?
You must submit a new application with up to date application components. We recommend that you address the previous comments that you received from evaluators within your new application. Please note that a new set of evaluators may review your new application , and you may received new comments.
