Is my organization's portfolio eligible for PERFORM verification?
PERFORM is available to any organization with existing buildings in operation.
To participate in the program, the organization must own, manage or control the real estate assets (properties) in the defined portfolio, and have more than one property in the portfolio. See the Portfolio Definition and Scope section of the PERFORM Program Guide for full eligibility requirements.
Does a PERFORM portfolio have to include all of the buildings owned, managed, or controlled by an organization?
No, organizations may group their real-estate properties into specific portfolios based on characteristics that reasonably represent the performance goals and metrics being tracked/verified.
Please see the Portfolio Definition and Scope section of the PERFORM Program Guide for a list of ways a portfolio can be defined.
Is there a minimum time frame that properties must be operational to be eligible for PERFORM?
No, all properties are eligible to enroll in PERFORM. For some metrics, performance verification requires a minimum of 3-12 months of data tracking. See the “Track Progress” section of the PERFORM Program Guide and the PERFORM Performance Metrics for more detail.
How can my organization enroll?
