How do I track the status of a course I submitted?
Your course will appear in your usgbc.org account under Education once you have submitted it for review. You may not edit courses pending review. Please allow up to ten business days for approved courses to appear in this tab.
How long does it take for a course review to be completed?
Once submitted, there are two rounds of course review. Each round of course review may take up to ten business days. Course submissions should occur at least 25 business days before the course offering date. This allows time for the course submitter to respond to any clarification requests from GBCI (requests for additional information or course edits) and for GBCI to review the updates.
Note: A course will NOT be retroactively reviewed or approved after course delivery has occurred. A course must be submitted well before delivery to ensure that the review process can be completed, and any potential issues addressed before the course begins.
Will I be notified of the review decision of my course?
An email notification will be sent to the individual who originally submitted the course.
Once a course is approved by GBCI, for how long is the approval valid?
GBCI course approval is valid for three (3) years from the date of approval. The exception is Live Conference/Summit approval, which is for a specific scheduled one-time event only.
