How do I register my LEED project for recertification?
USGBC currently offers the following recertification options.
- Recertify based on the LEED v4 O+M rating system in LEED Online:
- This option is available to projects seeking recertification based on the LEED v4 O+M rating system and is available to projects previously certified at least once under LEED O+M. To get started, register a new LEED v4 O+M project in LEED Online and select the checkbox to indicate that this project has already been certified (you will be asked to enter the project number of the project’s prior certification). This path requires a new registration (creating a new ID number). Project teams should add 'Recertification' to their project name and select the option to 'pay by check' to generate an invoice (wire / SEPA payment in Europe). Send a copy of the invoice to info@usgbc.org and our billing team will zero the invoice to provide free registration.
- Submit data for all five performance prerequisites to achieve LEED v4.1 O+M recertification:
- This option is a data-driven pathway available to all projects that have previously achieved LEED certification under BD+C, ID+C, or O+M and have been operating for at least one year. Projects must submit data across all five performance prerequisites and achieve a minimum of 40 points. To get started, access your LEED project in Arc at https://arcskoru.com/ and follow the prompts to register for recertification. Refer to the ‘How Recertification Works” section of the LEED v4.1 O+M Guide for details.
